It is one of Varanasi's oldest temples, situated near the Bengal Tola Inter College and near the famous Weaver's Colony of Madanpura. It is said that, here, Tilbhandeshwar Shiv Lingam grows every year to a modest length. In addition to Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev, Vibhaveshwar, Maa Parvati, Bhairav, Lord Ayyappan and other Hindu deities are seen here. This temple represents a unique combination of Malayali and Banarasi culture. Famous festivals include Mahashivaratri, Makar Sankranti, Shravan, Navratri, Ayyappan Pooja etc. Mother Sharda also spent some days in this temple in Varanasi. Jagrut Mandir "Shri Tilabhandar Mahadev" Kashi

Kashi is the oldest surviving city on this planet, there are many 'Jagat' (living) temples in the city where no one can realize the power.

Sri Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev is one of the many temples of Kasi. This temple is located in Pandey Mansion near Bhelupur in Varanasi.

This is Lord Shiva's temple. The Shiva Linga of this temple is called Shambhu, which means that it emerges automatically.

It is said that Shiv Ling had emerged 2500 years ago.

It is mentioned in Shri Shiv Purana about Shri Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev. Shivalinga is said to increase the size of 'sesame'.

This fact is scientifically proven and it is a miracle that can be seen with eyes. Currently the visual part of Shiv Ling is approximately 3.5 feet and the diameter of the base will be approximately 3 feet (approx).

The exact height of the entire Shiv Lingam is not known as it should be around 20 feet

Contrary to other temples, there is a special silence in the temple because there is no 'Panda' system, so can go to the main sanctum where water is distributed to Shiva Ling and meditation can be done by sitting at the feet of God.

Just go there and keep me around Baba and feel the power supreme .....

Everywhere Shiva !!
